How to reduce the fat content of hair

The fat content of the hair causes a lot of trouble. This is the need for frequent washing, and difficulties in styling, and dandruff. To turn fatty hair into a good and faithful friend, forgetting about their shortcomings, let’s figure out why the hair is fatter and what to do about it.

It is often difficult to eliminate the cause of excessive fat, but simple and affordable tips will help you keep your hair fresh for as long as possible:

1.     Do not use shampoos with SLS and SLeS

Aggressive surfactants permanently dry out the skin. As a result, the brain commands the sebaceous glands to secrete a lot of fat to protect the skin from dryness. Therefore, always choose shampoos   with soft surfactants.

2.   Do not apply conditioner and balm to the roots.

Conditioning ingredients (silicones, proteins, oils, lecithin), which are found in industrial balms and conditioners, enhance the fatiness of the scalp.  

3.     Wash your head with warm water.

Hot water strengthens the fatiness of the scalp. Use warm water to wash your head.

4.     After each washing rub the hair roots broth sage

Recipe:500 ml of filtered water to a boil. Add two tablespoons of sage, leave over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Allow the broth to cool. You can safely store it in the refrigerator.

5.     Apply the masks from the green and pink clay 2 times a week

Recipe:dilute clay with warm water until the consistency of sour cream. Add 2 drops of essential oil of rosemary. Apply to the roots of hair 30 minutes before washing your hair.

6.     Do not use the hair dryer.

Fat hair can not be dried with a hairdryer. Hot air will increase the problem of fat content. If you need to make a styling – let the hair dry naturally, then lay them with iron or curling iron.

7.     Drink half liter of water per day

Lack of moisture and gives a signal many sebaceous glands secrete sebum & nbsp.; Drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day.

8.     Divide the care of the scalp and the length of the hair

For maintenance to be effective, apply to the scalp products marked “for a greasy type”, and for length – depending on its condition. So, if you have fragile hair, choose hair cosmetics labeled “for dry or brittle”. This combination of drugs will help reduce the fatty skin of the scalp, without harming the length.
